Apache HBase / Object-Store Semantics Module · This module provides atomic file-system semantics required by HBase when running on object-store based FileSystem implementations that can not natively offer those semantics. It does this by locking, so operations may not be fast, but should be transactional.

Apache HBase FileSystem-related Modules · This project houses projects that work at the Apache Hadoop FileSystem layer to meet Apache HBase's needs. This work is experimental, and may eventually be replaced by other initiatives in HBase. It is therefore released separately.
