Maven plugin for groovydoc · As all Groovy artifacts and mixed Groovy/Java artifacts must generate javadoc to release to central, this provides a nice mechanism for this to occur. It is intended to be used with the Eclipse Maven plugin and asks Maven for all source directories.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

Rename the file groovydoc-maven-plugin-2.1-javadoc.jar to groovydoc-maven-plugin-2.1-javadoc.zip
Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder groovydoc-maven-plugin-2.1-javadoc
Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "groovydoc-maven-plugin-2.1-sources.jar" -d "groovydoc-maven-plugin-2.1-javadoc" -subpackages
