When working with many feature/release/bugix/hotfix branches, it is a bad idea to start changing the pom version as this will create merge conflicts using pull request. this plugin allow you to keep in ALL branches the same pom version for all your projects, for example MASTER-SNAPSHOT the version will be derived from branch name automatically.

Rename the file git-branch-renamer-maven-plugin-1.5.0-javadoc.jar to git-branch-renamer-maven-plugin-1.5.0-javadoc.zip
Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder git-branch-renamer-maven-plugin-1.5.0-javadoc
Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "git-branch-renamer-maven-plugin-1.5.0-sources.jar" -d "git-branch-renamer-maven-plugin-1.5.0-javadoc" -subpackages
