The Maven swift plugin generates source code from Thrift IDL files. It is aimed at generating code for the swift framework of annotation based Java thrift classes but could be used with any programming language by adding code generation templates.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file swift-maven-plugin-0.15.6-javadoc.jar to swift-maven-plugin-0.15.6-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder swift-maven-plugin-0.15.6-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "swift-maven-plugin-0.15.6-sources.jar" -d "swift-maven-plugin-0.15.6-javadoc" -subpackages
