Debian Maven Plugin · This plugin helps building DEB packages from Maven projects. The packages can be used in DEB-based operating systems such as Debian and Ubuntu. The plugin uses external Debian tools to do the actual packaging.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file debian-maven-plugin-3.3-javadoc.jar to debian-maven-plugin-3.3-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder debian-maven-plugin-3.3-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "debian-maven-plugin-3.3-sources.jar" -d "debian-maven-plugin-3.3-javadoc" -subpackages
