Apache Velocity Tools - Examples (migrated to Jarkata) · Examples to show how to use Velocity Tools. PLEASE NOTE: this is a temporary fork to unblock projects migrating to Jakarta, but I won't continue maintaining it in the future as the Velocity team doesn't understand the value of Jakarta. I strongly suggest you plan a switch to a more modern template engine such as Thymeleaf.

Rename the file velocity-tools-examples-3.3.0-javadoc.jar to velocity-tools-examples-3.3.0-javadoc.zip
Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder velocity-tools-examples-3.3.0-javadoc
Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "velocity-tools-examples-3.3.0-sources.jar" -d "velocity-tools-examples-3.3.0-javadoc" -subpackages
