BuildTools Maven Plugin · This plugin provides several goals that can be used in a build pipline, e.g. to handle changelog validation and publishing, to handle site publishing, to enforce requirements to parent POM or to generate checksum files for the created artifacts. This plugin is used in and optimized for the Hottbox Build Pipeline.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file buildTools-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc.jar to buildTools-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder buildTools-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "buildTools-maven-plugin-1.0.0-sources.jar" -d "buildTools-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc" -subpackages
