Java Naming and Directory Interface 1.0 · This feature enables the use of Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) to access server configured resources such as DataSources or JMS Connection Factories. It also allows access to Java primitives configured in the server as a jndiEntry.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file jndi-1.0-23.0.0.8-javadoc.jar to jndi-1.0-23.0.0.8-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder jndi-1.0-23.0.0.8-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "jndi-1.0-23.0.0.8-sources.jar" -d "jndi-1.0-23.0.0.8-javadoc" -subpackages
