Jakarta Server Pages 3.1 · This feature enables support for Jakarta Server Pages that are written to the Jakarta Server Pages 3.1 specification. This framework simplifies the construction of user interfaces. Enabling this feature also enables the Jakarta Expression Language version 5.0 feature.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file pages-3.1-23.0.0.8-javadoc.jar to pages-3.1-23.0.0.8-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder pages-3.1-23.0.0.8-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "pages-3.1-23.0.0.8-sources.jar" -d "pages-3.1-23.0.0.8-javadoc" -subpackages
