r-maven-plugin · This plugin brings into Maven the lifecycle of an R package. It builds onto the existing R installation to perform build, check, etc. It provides means to complete a DESCRIPTION file with version, etc. In the future, It will allow to deploy the project to CRAN as well as a Maven artifact repository.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file r-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc.jar to r-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder r-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "r-maven-plugin-1.0.0-sources.jar" -d "r-maven-plugin-1.0.0-javadoc" -subpackages
