How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file mydoggy-examples-1.5.0-beta-r1389-javadoc.jar to mydoggy-examples-1.5.0-beta-r1389-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder mydoggy-examples-1.5.0-beta-r1389-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "mydoggy-examples-1.5.0-beta-r1389-sources.jar" -d "mydoggy-examples-1.5.0-beta-r1389-javadoc" -subpackages
