Excalibur Component Manager · This project contains utilities for managing components. ECM is what we call an "avalon container", though it is somewhat different in architecture to newer developments like Phoenix and Fortress. Our intend is to someday completely replace ECM with Fortress. In particular, this package contains the ExcaliburComponentManager, usually abbreviated to ECM.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

Rename the file excalibur-component-2.2.1-javadoc.jar to excalibur-component-2.2.1-javadoc.zip
Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder excalibur-component-2.2.1-javadoc
Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "excalibur-component-2.2.1-sources.jar" -d "excalibur-component-2.2.1-javadoc" -subpackages
