This executable JAR file is the primary entry point for the Service Starter. It acts as both the class path for the container virtual machine (VM) for the Java platform that executes non-activatable services, and as the setup VM for activatable services.

  1. Rename the file start-2.2.3-javadoc.jar to start-2.2.3-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder start-2.2.3-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "start-2.2.3-sources.jar" -d "start-2.2.3-javadoc" -subpackages
