Needle4j is a light-weight framework for testing isolated Java EE components outside of the container. It reduces the test setup code by analysing injected dependencies and automatic creation of mock objects.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file needle4j-3.0.0-javadoc.jar to needle4j-3.0.0-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder needle4j-3.0.0-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "needle4j-3.0.0-sources.jar" -d "needle4j-3.0.0-javadoc" -subpackages
