Spring Roo - Runtime - REST Publisher · Tracks OSGi services that are annotated with the JAX-RS annotations @Path/@Provider. Hooks these services into Jersey Servlet container and the OSGi HTTP Service, that is publish them as RESTful web services.

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file org.springframework.roo.rest.publisher-2.0.0.M2-javadoc.jar to org.springframework.roo.rest.publisher-2.0.0.M2-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder org.springframework.roo.rest.publisher-2.0.0.M2-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "org.springframework.roo.rest.publisher-2.0.0.M2-sources.jar" -d "org.springframework.roo.rest.publisher-2.0.0.M2-javadoc" -subpackages
