jmxfetch · JMXFetch is the new tool to collect metrics from JMX Servers in order to be sent to Datadog (http://www.datadoghq.com) It is called by the Datadog Agent (https://github.com/Datadog/datadog-agent) and sends metrics back to the Agent using the Java dogstatsd library (https://github.com/datadog/java-dogstatsd-client).

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file jmxfetch-0.47.10-javadoc.jar to jmxfetch-0.47.10-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder jmxfetch-0.47.10-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "jmxfetch-0.47.10-sources.jar" -d "jmxfetch-0.47.10-javadoc" -subpackages
