common-archetype · Archetype that might be used by IT managers in order to create the common packages of custom IT. groupId, artifactId, package, version, companyMainGroupId, companyMainArtifactId, companyMainVersion, company, companyUrl have to be defined in archetype execution. By convention, we recommend to call this module common-"yourcompany".

How to open Javadoc JAR file in web browser

  1. Rename the file common-archetype-0.0.1-javadoc.jar to common-archetype-0.0.1-javadoc.zip
  2. Use your favourite unzip tool (WinRAR / WinZIP) to extract it, now you have a folder common-archetype-0.0.1-javadoc
  3. Double click index.html will open the index page on your default web browser.

How to generate Javadoc from a source JAR?

Running the command javadoc:

javadoc --ignore-source-errors -encoding UTF-8 -sourcepath "common-archetype-0.0.1-sources.jar" -d "common-archetype-0.0.1-javadoc" -subpackages
